- Remove the safety switch
- Lift the bottom end of the device, press the button and push the bottom piece forward
- Carefully lift and remove the blade
- Align the drive shaft in the center of the blade with the gear in the center of the device so that the blade lies flat against the housing
- Push the bottom piece back
- Re-engage the front safety switch
- Ready to use!
