High-performance antenna for digital TV reception

Antenna Signal Reception

This digital TV antenna is designed to receive local television signals available in your area when properly positioned. Depending on broadcast availability and environmental conditions, you can access various local channels.

Amplifier and Placement Options

An amplified reception booster is included to improve signal strength in the VHF and UHF frequency ranges. The antenna's housing is robust and designed for indoor use, but can also be placed in sheltered outdoor areas.

Cable and TV Compatibility

The antenna comes with a 5-meter coaxial cable, allowing for flexible placement options. It has a standard impedance of 75 ohms and can be connected to televisions that support common broadcast formats such as 720p, 1080i, 1080p, depending on what local broadcasters transmit and what the TV can display.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far can this antenna receive signals?
A: The manufacturer specifies a potential range of up to 600 miles. Actual reception depends on the distance to transmission towers, terrain, building materials, obstacles, weather, and placement. Indoor reception is generally more limited than outdoor reception.

Q: Do I need internet access for this antenna to work?
A: No. It is designed to receive local broadcast signals from nearby transmitters. Internet access is not required.

Q: Where should I place the antenna for best results?
A: Performance varies by location. Higher placement, near a window, or facing local transmission towers can improve reception. It is often necessary to try several positions.

Q: Is setup difficult?
A: Setup is generally straightforward. Connect the coaxial cable to the TV, power the amplifier, position the antenna, and perform a channel scan on the TV.
